Teaching

I think my first love was teaching, although the universities I have worked at have tried desperately to sublimate that love! My Teaching page details recent stuff.

I also love doing research, although not that much recognition ever flowed my way. I think my model of what constitutes research is different from most others. Make your own judgement by visiting my Research page.

Administration

I ended up in my latter years doing a lot of Administration. I'd venture to say that the years I spent as Associate Dean Teaching were among my happiest, and most rewarding.

The Future of Information Technology

There is widespread concern within the higher education IT sector about the job market in Australia, and the falling demand for IT degree places.
